Business Development Manager – Fire & Security
Location: Southend-on-Sea based | Covering London, the South East and inside the M25, with national reach
Salary: Negotiable, depending on what you can deliver, plus benefits
About the role
An established fire and security company based in Southend-on-Sea is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to win new business and grow its client base. This is a true hunter role for someone who thrives on opening doors, building relationships and closing deals.
Your focus will be London, the South East and the area inside the M25. You won’t be restricted by geography, though. Wherever the business is, you’ll go after it and manage it, including opportunities nationwide.
What you’ll be doing
- Finding and winning new business across fire and security services
- Using your existing network to open doors quickly
- Building a strong pipeline and turning it into long-term accounts
- Managing the client relationships you bring in
What we’re looking for
- A proven hunter with a track record of winning new business
- Confident, motivated and self-driven, with the hunger to succeed
- A strong “little black book” of contacts, ideally within fire, security, facilities management or construction
- Comfortable working on your own and covering a wide area
