Our client, a world-class engineering services organisation, is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Consultant to join their specialist team. This is an opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects that transform infrastructure and energy systems across the globe, while advancing your career within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Position Overview
As an Electronic Security Systems Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering integrated security design solutions for major infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement electronic security systems that meet stringent legislative, regulatory and client standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to protecting critical infrastructure and ensuring the safety and security of facilities across diverse sectors.
Responsibilities

Undertake technical design work within electronic security systems specialist service areas

Prepare briefs, scopes of work and input into bid proposals across all design stages
-
Manage time and budgets effectively to meet key project milestones and programmes

Collaborate with clients and teams across the UK and overseas to deliver integrated solutions

Adhere to quality assurance standards throughout the design process

Apply relevant design standards, codes and regulations to all technical work
Requirements
-
Degree qualification, or equivalent, in an appropriate discipline
-
Proven experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design environments

Strong knowledge of Electronic Surveillance Systems, Intruder Detection Systems, Access Control and Security Management System

Experience with Video Management Systems, security analytics, biometrics and wired/wireless networks
-
Proficiency in integrated security solutions and CAD/BIM/REVIT design
-
Experience delivering security governance, policies and procedures to meet legislative and regulatory standards

Understanding of relevant standards such as NPSA, ISO and LPCB
-
Professional body membership or acknowledged relationship within the security industry (e.g., SyI, RSES, ASC)

Ability to obtain UK security clearance (UKSV), which may require proof of 5+ years UK residency
