Role: Field Line Manager
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Fire Systems Field Line Manager position working in Central London? As a Fire Systems Field Line Manager, you will be overseeing field operations across the region to ensure successful service delivery, the effective management of engineering teams, and the maintenance of strong client relationships for a leading UK fire and security provider.
Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service, managing and maintaining client relationships and conducting regular review meetings.

Day-to-day management of an engineering team, organising duties and operational workflow.

Take ownership of key accounts and allocated service contracts.

Work closely with the operations administration team to support effective service delivery.

Oversee all works within your region, including RAMS ownership, first-time fix rates, deadline adherence, planned maintenance, remedials, and real-time documentation compliance.

Manage and monitor allocated job budgets, including justification of increases or variations.

Carry out audits, including PDA usage, paperwork, timesheets, mileage records, and vehicle audits in line with company policy.

Conduct client site audits, ensuring customer O&M documentation and site logs are accurate and up to date.

Monitor supplier and subcontractor costs for your region.

Review training requirements to maintain compliance with standards and accreditations.

Produce monthly and ad hoc reports.

Conduct engineer appraisals and probation reviews.
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in the fire systems industry in a supervisory or management role.

Proven experience in a customer-facing environment.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Demonstrable people management abilities.
-
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
