Role: Fire Suppression Business Development Manager
Location: London
Salary: £45,000 per annum

Are you a Fire Suppression Business Development Manager based in London and looking to drive growth across the South of England? As a Fire Suppression Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the residential fire suppression sector. You will be working for a leading UK company specialising in the design, supply, and installation of fire suppression systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, marketing initiatives, referrals, and tender submissions
  • Arrange and attend client meetings and presentations to promote fire suppression systems and services
  • Achieve agreed activity levels, sales targets, and performance objectives
  • Develop and manage national sales opportunities before handover to the operations team
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records, ensuring documentation is completed and filed correctly
  • Produce regular reports, including sales forecasts and pipeline updates
  • Represent the business professionally at all times, maintaining strong client relationships
  • Stay informed on legislation, standards, and product developments within the fire suppression industry

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • A minimum of several years’ experience in a Business Development or Sales role within the fire suppression or fire safety industry
  • Experience developing relationships with Specifiers, Consultants, and End Users
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive business development approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
