Security Installation Engineer
📍 South of England (between Bournemouth and Maidstone)
💰 £40,000 – £42,000 Basic Salary (Flexibility for the right candidate)

I’m currently recruiting for a Security Installation Engineer to join a well-established electronic security business delivering a large utilities project across the South of England.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced installation engineer looking for a stable role with a strong pipeline of work, a supportive management team and no call-out commitment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of electronic security systems across a variety of commercial, industrial and infrastructure environments.
Working independently and alongside other engineers, you’ll ensure installations are completed to a high standard, in line with customer requirements, industry standards and company procedures.
The role will involve regular travel across the South of England, with a company vehicle provided and all necessary equipment supplied.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm and Intercom systems
- System testing, fault finding and final commissioning activities
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate job documentation and installation records
- Working closely with other engineers and operational teams
- Supporting upgrades and system expansions on existing customer sites
- Maintaining company equipment, tools and vehicle stock
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience installing electronic security systems
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems
- Experience working within commercial or infrastructure environments
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- ECS/CSCS card advantageous
