Project Admin Support
Location – Reading / London office with WFH hybrid available Salary– £30,000 per annumType – PermanentStart – Immediate
The Opportunity
An established and growing electronic security systems business is looking to recruit a proactive Project Administrator to support its busy Projects team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and coordination experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting project delivery, ensuring information is organised, documentation is up to date and communication between internal teams, engineers, suppliers and clients runs smoothly.
The role is predominantly hybrid, with occasional visits to the London office and project meetings when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with the day-to-day administration of multiple projects.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers and records.
- Coordinate communication between clients, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Schedule meetings, site visits and engineer attendance.
- Assist with purchasing administration, purchase orders and delivery tracking.
- Support project reporting, action logs and progress updates.
- Help prepare project documentation including RAMS, handover packs and compliance records.
- Liaise with internal departments including Procurement, Finance, Service and Engineering.
- Monitor outstanding actions and escalate any issues that could impact project delivery.
About You
- We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys keeping projects running efficiently.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience within a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or Service Coordinator position.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Experience within engineering, construction, facilities management or electronic security would be advantageous, although not essential.
