Fire Alarm Project Manager | Up to £65,000 base | London
An established fire and security solutions provider is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of fire detection and alarm projects across commercial, healthcare, education, residential, infrastructure, and public sector environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from award through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple fire alarm and life safety projects simultaneously.
- Oversee all project phases, including design review, procurement, planning, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
- Ensure projects comply with BS 5839, relevant fire safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, variations, forecasts, and commercial performance.
- Produce and maintain project programmes and progress reports.
- Attend client meetings and provide regular project updates.
- Identify and manage project risks and mitigation measures.
- Ensure health and safety compliance across all project activities.
- Support commissioning and final acceptance processes.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Assist with resource planning and project pipeline management.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing fire alarm installation projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems.
- Experience delivering projects in commercial and complex environments.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage project budgets and programmes effectively.
- Knowledge of BS 5839 and associated fire safety standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

- FIA Fire Alarm Qualifications

- ECS Card
