Project Manager – Electronic Security Systems
Location: Hillegom, Netherlands (office-based with site visits; must live within commuting distance)
Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: €65,000–€80,000
The Role: You’ll own security installation projects from allocation through to handover, running the programme, the budget and the customer relationship. You’ll also supervise installation engineers and subcontractors on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and deliver projects allocated by the Operations Director, through to handover
- Review new job files against contract conditions and confirm the specified system is workable, with sales and the customer
- Build and manage programmes of works, and tell customers about changes early
- Monitor project profitability and report through regular project reviews
- Supervise engineers and subcontractors, including health, safety and environmental compliance
- Arrange customer training, commissioning and completion certificates, and handover documentation
- Feed into invoicing schedules to keep cash flow on track
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ project management experience on electronic security installations of similar size and value
- Strong working knowledge of access control, CCTV and intruder systems
- Training in, or good awareness of, standard contract forms such as NEC3/4 and JCT
- Able to build and run programmes in Microsoft Project or similar
- Confident with Microsoft 365, Visio and job costing packages
- Based in the Netherlands within commuting distance of Hillegom
