Role: Security Installation Engineer
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Security Installation Engineer position in Portsmouth? As a Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites. You will be working for a leading security systems provider delivering high-quality installations and long-term technical solutions.
Responsibilities:

Install CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems to industry standards

Work from technical drawings and project specifications

Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard and within deadlines

Conduct cable routing, device mounting and system setup

Communicate effectively with clients and site teams
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
A minimum of 2 years’ experience installing electronic security systems

Experience installing IP CCTV, access control and intruder alarms
-
Familiar with brands such as Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, Honeywell (or similar)
-
ECS/CSCS card is desirable
-
Manufacturer training beneficial
-
Full UK driving licence
