Senior Business Development Manager – Data Centre Sector South UK

We’re looking for a highly driven and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion within the Data Centre vertical. This is a pivotal role where you’ll be at the forefront of identifying opportunities, building strong client partnerships, and driving significant revenue growth.

What You’ll Do
- Unlock growth opportunities by identifying and developing new business within the Data Centre sector.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships built on trust and results.
- Create and deliver strategic sales plans that align with Pointer’s vision.
- Keep ahead of the market with in-depth research on customer needs, competitors, and trends.
- Drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing deals.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other teams to maximise business growth.
- Represent Pointer at industry events and networking opportunities, expanding our presence and influence.
- Track performance, analyse data, and report on progress to ensure we’re always improving.
- Champion customer satisfaction, retention, and value creation.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in business development within the fire & security industry, or similar industries supporting the Data Centre sector.
- Proven ability to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and sector knowledge.
- Confidence engaging with decision-makers at all levels.
- Organisational skills that keep you on top of multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting.
- A proactive, ambitious, and results-driven approach.
- Full, clean UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
