Business Development Manager – South 

London & Home Counties | Hybrid (St Albans HQ)£35,000 – £45,000 basic | £70,000 OTE | Company vehicle or car allowance

About the role 

We’re looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new business in Fire & Security across London and the Home Counties. You’ll manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to securing high-value installation and service contracts. This is a hands-on role with autonomy to develop your patch, backed by a trusted brand and supportive leadership.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers 
  • Deliver tailored proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Manage full sales cycle from lead to contract mobilisation
  • Conduct site surveys and support system design
  • Maximise cross-sell opportunities across services
  • Keep pipeline accurate and report KPIs to senior management

About you 

You are a commercially minded sales professional with 5+ years’ experience in Fire & Security. You have a proven track record of selling both installation projects and recurring service contracts. You’re confident building relationships across public and private sectors and excel at managing your pipeline end-to-end.

  • 5+ years’ Fire & Security sales experience
  • Strong track record in installation and service contracts
  • Full sales cycle management
  • Negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisation and pipeline management
