Role: Security Systems Engineer
Location: East London
Salary: £45,000 per annum

Are you a Site Engineer based in East London looking to work on a high-security, large-scale integrated system? As a Site Engineer, you will handle daily fault requests and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) duties across complex CCTV, Access Control, and control room systems. You will be working for an established independent security systems integrator delivering innovative, high-end solutions across critical infrastructure and secure environments throughout the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to daily fault requests and carry out planned preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and repair large-scale digital CCTV and Access Control systems
  • Support and maintain perimeter detection systems
  • Maintain and support large-scale control room and monitor wall solutions
  • Update helpdesk systems and close out service calls accurately
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and third-party vendors
  • Demonstrate flexibility, including occasional nights away and participation in call-out rota
  • Adhere to company management systems and maintain high professional standards

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working with large-scale CCTV and IT-based security systems
  • Strong knowledge of RAID recording systems
  • Proven on-site fault-finding and repair capability
  • Knowledge of enterprise-level systems (desirable)
  • Experience with monitor wall solutions (desirable)
  • Access Control and Intruder system knowledge (desirable)
  • Ability to obtain high-level vetting clearance
