Crimestoppers Ball

by Msecadm4921

Merseyside Crimestoppers are celebrating their 10th birthday with a Ball.

Merseyside Crimestoppers report that they are trying to emulate the success of last year’s Crimestoppers Ball at the Royal Courts of Justice (featured in the January issue of Professional Security). The Liverpool event is at the Holiday Inn, Lime Street, from 7pm on Wednesday, September 14.

The Chief Constable of Merseyside, Bernard Hogan-Howe, and other distinguished guests will be in attendance, organisers report; and Liverpool comic genuis Ken Dodd will provide entertainment. The Littlewoods organisation are providing raffle prizes and Liverpool drinks firm Halewood International will provide aperitifs.

What they say

Peter Jones, manager of Business Crime Direct at Liverpool Chamber of Commerce said: "We were so impressed with the article in Professional Security, and in particular the support for Crimestoppers from the security industry, that we decided to have a go ourselves."

How to book

Anyone interested in providing sponsorship, raffle or auction prizes or in booking tickets or a table (£45 a ticket, £400 for a table of 10) should contact Jo Sutton, Business Crime Direct, Liverpool Chamber on 0151 285 1413.
