A compact unit with four video inputs, this product offers the functions as the MULTISCOPE II. Video recording onto an 80 GB hard disk can be is controlled by the same ?activity detection? function, and the MSC2/4-C too has simultaneous digital picture transmission via Ethernet (LAN, WAN etc). The MSC2/4-C?s functions include alarm management with automatic control of live or recorded picture switching, as well as telemetry control from the operator?s screen. Its motion search facility speeds up analysis by finding movement in recorded pictures, and the synchronized play back facility displays pictures recorded from different cameras synchronized on a time stamp basis. Compatible with existing MULTISCOPE II installations, the MSC2/4-C can be used to expand these systems into complex networks. It is also suitable for smaller installations requiring local recording, and applications needing a high picture rate per camera. ? Just like its bigger brothers (with eight, 16 or 32 camera inputs) the MSC2/4-C has a top picture rate of 50fps.
In common with all Geutebrck?s MULTISCOPE II products, the MSC2/4-C comes with a range of serial protocols to support third party system integration. This allows connection to ATMs and access control systems, as well as almost any barcode reader or filling station cashier system. The software developers kit (SDK), which has been used for integrating systems into building management and management centre systems, is available for setting up TCP/IP links. Additional functionality can be added at any time by means of software licences and activation codes, and tailor-made configurations of the basic system are available as the MSC2/4.
