A new shop front and automatic door entrance at the Halfords branch in Margate has the recently launched OSMA automatic sliding door from J Durrance & Co.
The J Durrance OSMA automatic sliding door replaces the existing manual doors. According to the Essex-based physical security product firm, this ensures easier customer access and the store’s Disability Discrimination Act compliance, and the new aluminium shop front has provided, it is claimed, a stylish and secure entrance. Manufactured and installed by J Durrance, the shop front and aluminium doors were designed to customer specifications, including colour finish to the retailer’s corporate colouring. The 6.75m wide shop front includes an external and internal set of automatic double sliding doors, powered by the OSMA 140B, extending 4.4m long, complete with safety sensors and controlled by the universal Digital Electronic Program Selector (DEPS).
