Wilson James will be launching two technology-based solutions at IFSEC 2008 which will each bring the guarding contractor says benefits to both its staff and its clients.
Intranet awareness tool
The company will demonstrate an intranet-based security awareness tool for its staff and clientsโ employees, developed with online security awareness provider The Security Company (International) Ltd.
This initiative reflects the importance placed by Wilson James on increasing the number of people with an understanding of and commitment to security issues. It fosters a learning process based on continuous acquisition and consolidation of knowledge rather than occasional training courses.
The Security Company (International) Ltd has tailored the service, based on its own i-wareness product line, to meet Wilson Jamesโ specific requirements. It provides the firms add a user-friendly means of encouraging a consistently strong security culture.
Mobile data
Wilson James is working with m-Power Mobile Solutions Ltd to deliver a real-time data capture and transfer system that will further enhance the safety of its remote workers and the range of services they are able to deliver. Based on m-Powerโs mobile data platform, the product monitors security officer patrol activity as well as delivering real-time added value FM services. Wilson James security officers will now be able to deliver, during their routine security patrols, an auditable fault reporting service direct to the clientsโ respective FM support teams.
