Iraq Cameras

by Msecadm4921

The new EX36MNX from Extreme CCTV is to be installed at one of Iraq’s most notorious, unnamed prisons.

Vandal-resistant corner cameras are to be used inside prison cells to obtain views of the room by day and in dark conditions. The new EX36MNX model, pictured, from manufacturer Extreme CCTV has a newly developed mechanical filter that adjusts for the type of light reaching the CCD sensor. Size of the contract and other project details have been withheld. Jack Gin, President and CEO of Extreme CCTV, said: "The EX36 camera became significant to the corrections industry after an inmate successfully sued for damages after his own suicide attempt. These cameras are here to protect both the inmate and the correctional authority."
