Office Contract

by msecadm4921

The manned guarding and electronic security company Axis Security has been selected to protect a number of properties across Leeds city centre in a new contract with Sanderson Weatherall, the chartered surveyors and property consultants.

Axis won the contract to provide manned guarding services at three multi-tenanted office buildings. The contract began in December 2010 after a competitive tender bid.

Matthew Lawrence, Associate Partner at Sanderson Weatherall, says that the reasons for choosing Axis Security have been proven in the early stages of the relationship: “The approachable yet professional attitude we saw from their presentation has been carried forward into our day to day relationship, and our experience to date has been very positive.”

The new contract covers front of house and concierge duties for Princes Exchange in Leeds city centre and Building 3, Leeds City Office Park; and providing out-of-hours support to the building management team at Rose Wharf offices, a converted flax mill overlooking the River Aire.

As part of the contract, the contractor successfully transferred under TUPE all full time officers. Group Managing Director of Axis Security, Jonathan Levine, says: “We see it as a testament to the strength of commitment to our employees and our industry leading employment package. We are delighted with the contract; it proves that the way we work, the calibre of our officers and the support they receive from our senior management team is recognised throughout the regions.”
