Intercom solutions provider, Commend UK Ltd (the new name for Complus Teltronic Ltd), will be showcasing product additions to their security and communications range at IFSEC 09, stand number D40, hall 4.
Complementing Commend’s current IP product line and nominated as a finalist in the IFSEC 2009 Security Industry Awards, ‘Integrated Security Product of the Year’ category, is the new GE 800 IP Intercom Server. Featuring voice, video and control capability, the GE 800 provides routes to integrated functions over IP networks. The system can be expanded exponentially for thousands of users.
On Monday, May 11, between 2.30pm and 3pm, Greg Gregoriou, Commend’s Sales & Marketing Director, will be highlighting the new GE 800 at the New Product & Technology Showcases Seminar (Hall 4 Seminar Theatre), in a presentation on the ‘Latest applications of IP Intercom,’ which will include case studies.
Commend’s range of Disabled Refuge emergency voice communication systems will also be featured at the show.
Configured to meet the requirements of all evacuation incidents and communications needs (to BS5839 Part 9 and BS5588 Part 8), Type ‘B’ intercom station (SF 401D), will be on show to demonstrate its hands free operation and high-quality, full-duplex speech communication (even within ambient noise environments of up to 70dB eg fire alarm sounding).
Detention cell management, protecting guards and inmates will also be demonstrated, showcasing features specific to the needs of modern detention areas, such as vandalism and sabotage protection, registration of guard presence, surface sensing, for guard emergency call, and mobile phone detection capabilities.
Commend will also be showing the latest version of the COMWIN Graphic User Interface (GUI), including COMVID (Video) and COMRPT (Reporter), that integrates control desk functionality and CCTV images into a management display system; to streamline any installations’ control environment and efficiency. They can be customised to record and produce reports on a multitude of system parameters, COMRPT can produce reports and audit trails including call duration and time to answer, all in addition to the monitoring of any ongoing system faults or maintenance schedules. COMWIN COMVID features video integration over IP, including automatic video display at ‘call’ request, intuitive video event scanning and manual video switching, all at the touch of a button.
Interactive demonstrations of new and existing Commend security and communications products will be available throughout the show.
