Avigilon’s Control Center software received Lenel factory certification for their interface to the OnGuard solution by Lenel.
Now a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program, Avigilon is able to offer its customers integration between Avigilon’s HD and megapixel video surveillance systems and the OnGuard solution. OnGuard delivers access control, ID card issuance and management, alarm monitoring, digital video surveillance and management, real-time digital video content analysis, intelligent audio, integration of biometric technologies, intrusion detection, visitor management, and smart card use.

The Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program is open to any manufacturer interested in developing a software interface to OnGuard. Members develop interfaces based on the OnGuard API family. Lenel factory certifies interfaces to validate to the market that program companies have developed supportable interfaces which do not degrade OnGuard functionality.

Avigilon Control Center is a network video management software with High Definition Stream Management (HDSM) that delivers situational awareness and detail, the makers claim. Offering a variety of HD cameras from one to 16 megapixels, Avigilon Control Center is available as stand alone software or pre-installed and configured on Avigilon HD NVRs. Avigilon Control Center is a secure distributed network platform for capturing, managing, and storing high definition surveillance video while according to the makers managing bandwidth and storage.
