ASC look at smarter buildings

by Mark Rowe

What is a smarter building? What is an integrated building, fire & Security management system? What do we mean by true integration? These are some of the questions about ‘smart’ buildings to crop up at the first Association of Security Consultants (ASC) Business Group meeting of 2015, at the London Chamber of Commerce, on Tuesday, March 3. As usual the gathering ends with lunch.

Smarter buildings and the integration not only of security systems but of systems in general was aired at the last ASC business group meeting of 2014, as featured in the January 2015 print issue of Professional Security magazine.

Jason Blundell – Cortech Developments Ltd will cover ‘smart’ buildings such as the intelligent use of technology to provide cost savings. Other invited speakers are Paul Neal on security trends in the construction industry; and Chris Garden, Managing Director of manufacturer DVTEL Ltd on CCTV and 4K.
