Axis, ASIS partner

The Swedish network video product company Axis Communications is to partner with the UK Chapter of ASIS International, the security manager industry body, to provide members with training and information. This collaboration will be based around the ASIS CPE (continued professional education) scheme and will see Axis attending a number of UK ASIS events, offering seminars and updates on network video.

Mike Hurst, vice chairman – strategy of the UK Chapter of ASIS International, said: “We are always looking for new and innovative ways to offer our members access to training and information which ensures that we continue to promote excellence and leadership in the security management profession. By partnering with Axis Communications, we hope to give those who attend our events an excellent opportunity to keep up-to-date with all the latest developments and technology in network video.”

And Steven Kenny, business development manager for the architecture and engineering programme at Axis Communications, added: “Axis has long since recognised that offering continual professional training and education is a vital to ensure that our industry can continue to benefit from the many technological innovations in the market.

“Through our work with such prestigious organisations like ASIS in the UK we can offer them a wide-range of training, including the highly successful Axis Certification Program, and ensure that the knowledge and experience of its members is as current as it should be.”
