Orbis Protect, the vacant property and site security services contractor, has completed the acquisition of Secure Site UK. The firms say this acquisition will expand the technology base for both Orbis and SSUK customers.
Orbis Protect employs more than 600 staff across 25 UK locations, working for the private and public sectors. Its services include a mix of physical security, technology and monitoring of vulnerable assets for customers across a range of sectors. Orbis provides property management services such as clearance, cleaning, infection and pest control. Orbis also provides contact centre services and protects more than 60,000 people with personal alarms through its in-house accredited alarm receiving centre.
SSUK are a provider of electronic surveillance, access management and perimeter security services, for sectors including retail, automotive, leisure and construction.

The acquisition was supported by financing provided by Ardian. Orbis was advised on the acquisition by Squire Patton Boggs (Legal) and pwc (Financial and Tax Due Diligence). SSUK and its shareholders were advised by Bennett Griffin (Legal).
