Workwear show

by Mark Rowe

Helly Hansen Workwear will unveil its latest collection of safety, professional and protective apparel at this year’s A+A exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany – the trade show for safety and health in the workplace.

Introducing the Magni collection for 2016, the range presents a technical shell jacket, hybrid jacket and a Cordura reinforced pant. According to the workware firm Magni products offer a distinct and stylish look, with comfort to workers – on and off the job.

The flagship Magni Shell Jacket is claimed to be the toughest, most practical shell on the job site. Fully waterproof and breathable, with Helly Tech Professional technology, the jacket keeps you protected, regardless of the weather. Forged with cotton Cordura Polyamide blend reinforcements on the shoulders and elbows, the Magni Shell Jacket has articulated sleeves and an adjustable waist to fit. Zip ventilation and a padded collar add to breathability.

Helly Hansen’s three-layer system is completed with the Magni Hybrid Jacket. With ventilation zips, a breathable fabric on the back and Helly Tech Performance waterproof and breathable fabric in the front, it can also act as an outer layer. The Magni Workpant is a pant for tradesmen – with four-way stretch Polyamide fabric with Cordura reinforcements to strengthen the design. Multiple reinforced loops and zip-off pockets for hammers, rulers and tools of the trade make the Magni pants highly versatile and functional.

Helly Hansen Workwear staff will be at the show to talk visitors through the collection, and answer questions. Per-Øyvind Pettersen Langås, Workwear Category Manager, says: ”We are extremely proud of our new Magni collection. This groundbreaking range utilises our 140 years of technical expertise and combines that with the style demands of the modern tradesman. We are confident this is the first time the industry has been presented with a collection which keeps users dry, warm and safe but also allows them to look good on the job, at all times.”
