The access and security manufacturer Gallagher Security has launched OneLink, available as the headline feature of Command Centre v9.30.
OneLink is a cloud-based solution for deploying anywhere. By enabling Gallagher Controller 7000’s to connect to a base Command Centre server via the cloud, without the need for VPNs (virtual private networks) or extended corporate networks, OneLink allows security to be delivered to remote sites and distributed infrastructure.
Gallagher’s Chief Product Officer Meredith Palmer says: “OneLink is a major step forward in how organizations secure remote locations. By connecting controllers to Command Centre via the cloud, we’re removing traditional barriers and extending powerful, enterprise-grade security to anywhere it’s needed.”
Applications include critical utilities, construction sites, or branch networks. Command Centre v9.30 comes with faster setup and trouble-shooting, the developers say; users can access a Warranty Report Generator, capable of identifying outdated devices to maintain optimal system performance. Automated Credential Management means that expired credentials can be set to automatically delete, and integrations include support for IDEMIA VisionPass SP and Vortex ground sensors.
Meredith Palmer adds: “As one of the most feature rich platforms on the market, our Command Centre releases continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible. We’re committed to innovating and uncovering new ways we can unlock even greater value for our users through the power of our solutions and our integration capabilities.”
Command Centre v9.30 gives reduced downtime via the Network Connectivity Tool, simplified controller configuration, more card coding capabilities, Z20 sensor support for the Controller 7000 product range, and improved controller update, the developers add.
Meredith concludes, “With Command Centre v9.30 we are putting more power in the hands of our customers, enabling innovative ways to meet business needs, and unlocking even greater value for everyone in the Gallagher ecosystem.”
