Hochiki Europe at Security Essen

by Mark Rowe

Hochiki Europe will showcase some of its latest life safety systems, including FIREscape and FIREwave, in Hall 3.0, Booth 3A58 at this year’s Security Essen exhibition from September 27 to 30, 2016 at MESSE ESSEN. The life safety systems manufacturer is also inviting visitors on its stand for product demonstrations and to discuss new technology.

FIREscape is a low voltage emergency lighting system that generates less than five per cent of the CO2 emissions produced by traditional lighting, the product developers say. Based on LED technology, it is described as a fully intelligent emergency lighting concept that is also self testing.

Also on show is FIREscape Lite, an emergency lighting product designed for smaller projects and refits. The system uses FIREscape luminaires and exit signs powered from a building’s main electricity supply by use of a transformer unit to reduce costs and add to ease of installation, Hochiki Europe says.

The firm’s wireless fire detection system, FIREwave, will also be on display.

Paul Adams, marketing manager at Hochiki Europe said: “2016 has been a year of continued expansion. The opening of our new branch office in India, and the release of a number of new leading life safety products has put Hochiki Europe in a strong position, and we’re keen to see this momentum continue. Security Essen is a great opportunity to exchange ideas and solutions with those leading the way in fire safety solutions, and shape the way our industry operates. The Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and smart cities will be big talking points this year, so we’re looking forward to discussing how they will influence the ways we protect buildings and their occupants.”

The event in Essen, Germany is expected to attract visitors from 110 countries: visit www.security-essen.de.
