Business Development Manager

by Mark Rowe

Oprema, the UK multi-brand distributor of security equipment, has appointed Tony Norton as Business Development Manager.

Tony, pictured, joins Oprema on September 1 and brings with him 20-plus years of security industry experience. He has worked for Videcon, ADI-Gardiners, Adata and more recently HB Litherland, where he was responsible for growing the business across the south of the UK.

Tony said: “I’m really looking forward to working with the friendly and professional team at Oprema. As the UK’s authorised distributor of Dahua products, it will be great to work with the highly popular and competitive Dahua IP and HD over coax product range. But, as a multi-brand distributor, Oprema has a huge product offering and is a one-stop-shop for CCTV, access control, intruder and fire products, so I’m looking forward to working with customers to find the best possible solutions across a range of leading brands.”

And Gareth Williams, Sales Director at Oprema, said: “We’re really excited about Tony joining the Sales team. Tony’s role at Oprema is to develop and grow the business across the South of England and Wales, and support both our existing and new customers in every way possible. Tony’s technical and sales experience will be a valuable addition to our sales team.”
