Video engine

by Mark Rowe

G-Core, Geutebruck‘s video engine, has a new release in the second half of the year. The associated performance increase of HighSpeed MOS also helps to improve ease of use further, the German company says. Searches for movements in the defined image field are appreciably more efficient with the new G-Core release.

There are also improvements to the camera range: effective immediately, 4K and fisheye cameras in the Geutebruck E3 series can be operated in secure HTTPS mode using encryption. More third-party cameras are supported. The issue of security against manipulation of exported video images was also a focus of the update. When exported, a range of formats receive an authentication key by default, so that they can be checked for authenticity with G-View.
