AA Award

by Mark Rowe

The property management, glazing and security specialist, VPS, has won The Automobile Association’s first Supplier of the Year Award for Home Services. The award was made at the AA’s annual supplier conference to VPS Property Solutions, for being the best overall performing supplier, supporting the AA’s Home Emergency Response team. AA Home Services launched in 2010, and now fixes over 70,000 homes a year. Pictured are VPS Managing Director Ian Nisbet and Sales Director Jenny O’Dowd and the AA Award.

Ian Nisbet said: “I’m delighted that our home services support for the AA has been recognised by this award. Our glazing and locks engineers, and our pest controllers, carry out over 3,000 home emergency jobs a year for the AA, and take a lot of pride in making sure their work meets both our own and our customers’ high standards.”

AA’s Supply Manager, Leroy Jarman, added: “The AA prides itself on great customer service. Our AA Home Membership is more than just insurance cover as, like AA car breakdown cover, it quickly provides an expert tradesman to solve the problem in the home. We’re delighted to recognise VPS Property Solutions as our top performing supplier of the year.”

VPS has been shortlisted for the Customer Care Initiative in the Glass Awards 2017, and earlier this year won top prize in the Insurance Post’s Claims awards. Under the VPS Evander brand, VPS Property Solutions provide a national emergency locksmith and boarding-up service via fully-vetted Engineers, 24 hours. Visit www.vpsgroup.com.
