Trigion has a new contract with automotive logistics company GEFCO to provide manned security at the firm’s Sheerness Vehicle Logistics Centre. Pictured are Trigion contracts manager, Dave Brussee with Jason Howlett, Regional General Manager- FVL South East at GEFCO.

Sidcup, Kent-based Trigion reports it has experience in the automotive logistics sector and has a long-standing relationship with GEFCO, having provided security services to the logistics firm for almost a decade. Trigion says that it was well placed to be awarded the contract when GEFCO decided to look for an alternative provider.

The Sheerness centre opened in 1990 and handles 150,000 vehicles each year. Trigion says that its security officers are ‘Hostmanship’ trained, to make people feel welcome, whether customers, partners or colleagues.

Paul Grist, Director – UK for Trigion Security Services, said: “We are delighted to be re-appointed by GEFCO and are very proud to be associated with such a high profile, successful UK business. We firmly believe that our expertise and services result in a safe and secure environment, which will not only protect the business operations but will also help to ensure that the thousands of GEFCO customers continue to receive their vehicles on time and in good order.”
