Monitoring centre MD

by Mark Rowe

At Corps Security, Mike Bullock has been appointed in the dual role of regional director north and managing director of Corps Security’s Corps Monitoring Centre (CMC). Manchester based Mike has worked for a variety of facilities management (FM) companies. More recently he operated across mainland Europe as director of facilities services and then as commercial director for the contract services firm Rentokil Initial.

Mike said: ‘Corps Security is a highly ambitious, well run and forward thinking company which offers specialised security services that are unmatched anywhere else in the industry. With such a unique offering I firmly believe that there is huge potential for the company in terms of providing new and existing customers with a fully integrated service that combines the benefits of traditional manned guarding with the technology based capabilities of the CMC.’

Based in Glasgow, the CMC provides alarm receiving and remote monitoring services to a range of customers across market sectors, on an independent basis, or as part of a broader platform of services. It has National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold accreditation as well as BS 8418 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications.

Mike says that the FM sector is moving away from what is commonly referred to as total facilities management (TFM) and is looking for more specialised services that can offer excellent customer service.

Corps Security’s chief executive, Peter Webster, said, ‘I’m delighted that Mike has joined us. With his considerable understanding and knowledge of the FM market, he will be able to identify a plethora of potential expansion opportunities that are in line with our overall business plan. I wish him every success in achieving his objectives.’
