Octavian business development

by Mark Rowe

Octavian Security has appointed Kay Harford as its new business development manager.

Kay will take on a wide-ranging brief with the company at its Nottingham head office, and will be responsible for tendering for new business while developing new business strategies. In line with the anticipated forecast for growth she will also use her sales and networking skills to win new clients.

Kay’s previous roles include positions which delivered products and services to high-profile organisations, such as the South Korean Government, where she was instrumental in large-scale industrial installations on government sites. She was also corporate relations leader at Experience Nottinghamshire from 2006 to 2009.

She’s an author. Having published two titles on Amazon she has a third book in production. Tony Mellor, commercial director and head of human resources at Octavian, said: “Kay has many wide-ranging abilities, which means that she is a perfect fit for our type of business. She is used to interacting with our target audience of blue chip clients and has a track record of producing excellent results.

“We all look forward to working with her to drive Octavian forward at a very promising time for the business.”
