The security and logistics contractor Wilson James has appointed Gemma Quirke as their new Managing Director for Security Services.
Gemma, previously HR director for the business , has worked in the security industry for over 15 years and in this time has worked with industry bodies including Skills for Security, the BSIA and the SIA. Gemma has been involved in the development of security employment policy and has played a key role in professional standards, the company reports.
Gemma said: ‘I’m excited about the security industry and the direction it is going in. There is a great opportunity for the industry to continue to develop and be recognised for the professionalism and expertise for which we provide, something that we are very proud of at Wilson James. Her role will be specifically managing the strategic direction for security at Wilson James working with Ron Dickin, Customer Liaison Director and Executive Director, Stuart Lowden.
