The electronic fire and security systems installation firm Pointer has appointed Christopher Valentino as Senior Business Development Manager, pictured.
The firm says it has been building its profile across the critical infrastructure and data centre sectors through its specialist fire and security integration, in-house design capability, regional delivery and service support. The company founded in 1972 points to its more than 50 years of experience, 300-plus people internationally and seven UK locations. The firm recently opened a London office.ย
Christopher joins withย experience in the security sector and a remit to support strategic growth and help more organisations access the firm’s integrated fire and security offerings.ย ย
As the firm adds,ย UK data centres now sit at the heart of the country’s digital backbone and are under growing pressure to meet rising expectations around operational continuity and compliance. Pointer’s data centre offering spans perimeter protection, access control, IP video, grey space and white space protection, integrated fire detection, design and maintenance support.
