With the holiday period fast approaching, there’s still time – just – to either introduce or top up security on your site. The festive period in the UK traditionally sees a significant rise in crime, with high-value plant, equipment, fuel and materials often left unattended on building sites during the closedown.
The firms say that 92pc construction sites experience theft regularly, and VPS’ own survey to its customers indicate that on a regular week over one in five sites experience theft or vandalism.
