Skills for Security has launched a new website designed, the apprenticeship provider says, to make training more accessible. It’s rebuilt its online presence from the ground up as a response to learners and employer requirements: access to training, course booking and up-to-date resources to navigate a changing industry.
With its interactive, mobile-responsive design and simplified navigation, apprentices can explore training routes, view programmes, and get support to begin or progress their careers. Mollie Evans, Marketing & Sponsorship Manager at Skills says: “This isn’t just a new website – it’s part of a wider commitment to remove barriers and make skills development more inclusive, responsive, and relevant. Whether you’re an individual just starting out, a business looking to invest in talent, or a partner supporting training across the sector, we’ve created a platform that works harder for you.”
Employers can access information on apprenticeships, short courses, funding options, and workforce development tools. The site also features an expanded content hub offering industry insights, news, and practical guidance.
The digital refresh comes as Skills continues to scale its training offer nationwide, as featured in the July edition of Professional Security magazine. With regional training centres, partnerships across the UK and a sharp focus on raising industry standards, the organisation is addressing the talent pipeline challenges faced by the fire and security industry.
Mollie adds: “This launch marks another important milestone in our mission to raise standards and help the sector grow. We’ve listened to our learners, employers and partners and designed a platform that’s not only easier to use but one that reflects the professionalism and ambition of the industry itself. I’d encourage visitors to explore the site, find what they need and take that next step – whether it’s booking a course, hiring an apprentice, or finding out how to get involved.”
