Security Engineer – Service Division
Field-Based – South of England – Bournemouth/Portsmouth/SouthamptonSalary: circa £40,000 (flexible depending on experience)Immediate Start
We’re looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join a growing service division, supporting a large utilities contract across the South of England.
The Role
- Carry out service, maintenance, reactive call-outs and small works
- Work across CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms
- Diagnose faults and ensure systems are operating to current standards
- Complete real-time job reporting and documentation
- Support customer relationships through high-quality service delivery
- Participate in an on-call rota and occasional overtime
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in service & maintenance of commercial security systems
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and intruder systems – desirable would be Hanwha, AMAG, and Galaxy or similar systems to those.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good customer-facing and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence

- Working hours: 08:30 – 17:00
- Travel paid after 30 minutes each way
- Overtime paid at time and a half / double time on weekends
