Running online including Real Stories, Real People, a question and answer webinar, on Thursday, May 21, from 6.30pm to 8pm. Building on the Real Stories, Real People podcast series, this brings together speakers with lived experience of knife crime alongside trained facilitators. Taking part: Leeann White – mother of Ava White, Katherine Johnson – mother of Kamari Johnson, Kelly Brown – mother of Rhamero West and Quinton Green, Founder of MMAP Pathways CIC and Knife Crime Victim Support.
Knife Crime Awareness Essentials, a oneโhour training session for teachers and school staff, runs on Wednesday, May 20 from 3.45pm to 4.45pm.
Schools, youth and faith groups, charities, businesses, sports clubs and trusted adults are asked to sign the Knife Crime Awareness Week pledge. Running with the National Police Chiefsโย Councilโs (NPCC) Sceptre week. Patrick Green, CEO of the Ben Kinsella Trust, a charity: โKnife Crime Awareness Week is an opportunity for everyone to understand the devastating impact that knife crime can have on individuals and communities, and more importantly, toย take action to stop it. By working together, we can raise awareness of this important issue and help toย prevent more lives being lost to this senseless violence.โ
