Area Sales Advisor | Up to £40,000 | Leeds
As an Area Sales Advisor, you will be an enthusiastic, motivated, and customer focused individual who enjoys building relationships and supporting sales activity. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their commercial skills within the security industry while contributing to the company’s continued expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction and commercial opportunity.
- Assist in researching new markets, customer needs, and potential business leads.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the company’s products and services, providing clear information and understanding of customer objectives.
- Support the preparation of quotes, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and relevant documentation.
- Provide helpful, reliable feedback and after sales support to clients.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.
- Assist in developing new clients into long term accounts.
- Contribute to realistic sales forecasts and updates for the Management Team.
Requirements
- Experience in sales, customer service, or a commercially focused role within the security industry is essential.
- Comfortable working independently at times, with support and guidance from the Area Sales Manager.
- A positive, confident, and hard working attitude, with the drive to learn and exceed goals.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office; willingness to learn CRM and quoting software.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Good organisational skills, including time management and planning.
- A willingness to develop commercial awareness and industry knowledge through training and hands on experience.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide clear, helpful advice.
