Project Manager – Enterprise Security Systems
Location: LondonSalary: £65,000 plus vehicle / allowanceContract: PermanentHours: Full-Time
About the Role
- Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to manage the successful delivery of physical and electronic security installation projects across London.
- The role will take ownership of projects from initial client engagement and site surveys through to quotation, planning, installation, commissioning and final handover.
- You will work closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, commercially and to the required standard.
- This is a highly client-facing role requiring strong project management skills, commercial awareness and a good technical understanding of enterprise security systems.
- The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders while maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for further works.
Essential Experience
- Manage multiple security installation projects simultaneously.
- Take responsibility for projects from initial requirements through to completion and handover.
- Carry out client meetings and detailed site surveys to establish project requirements, prepare accurate quotations, proposals, scopes of work and project documentation.
- Develop project plans, programmes and delivery strategies.
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle, monitor project progress, costs, resources, quality and timescales, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budgetand in accordance with agreed specifications.
- Attend progress meetings and provide clear updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage project risks, issues, changes and escalations, putting appropriate solutions in place where required.
- Support system testing, commissioning and final project handover.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate and maintained throughout delivery.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Maintain appropriate H&S standards across project activities.
Essential skills
- Proven experience managing physical or electronic security installation projects.
- Strong understanding of security systems.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules and commercial performance.
- Strong client facing and account management
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication organisation and time management.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with enterprise security platforms such as:Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, Gallagher
- The client is ISO, NSI Gold, Achilles, CHAS, Considerate Constructors Scheme and SafeContractor accredited.
- BS7858 and BPSS security screening will be carried out as part of the recruitment process.
