Refrigeration Engineer
Location: North London & Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + Vehicle + Benefits
The Company

A trusted and growing building services and refrigeration contractor specialising in light commercial maintenance and reactive repair.

Works with major fuel brands, retailers, and service station operators across London and the South East.

The Role
-
Carry out service, maintenance, and repair of light commercial refrigeration systems on petrol forecourts and service stations.

Work on a variety of systems including display fridges, cold rooms, walk-in chillers, and freezer units.

Diagnose faults, replace components, and ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operation of all refrigeration equipment.

Provide first-class customer service, maintaining clear communication with site managers and helpdesk teams.

Participate in an on-call rota, ensuring rapid response to emergency breakdowns.

Maintain accurate records and ensure all work meets F-Gas, health and safety, and company standards.
The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Refrigeration Engineer with F-Gas Category 1 certification.

Experience in light commercial or retail refrigeration – forecourt or small retail environments advantageous.

Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently across multiple sites.

Customer-focused with a professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach.

Full UK driving licence and flexibility to cover a London & South East patch.
