Senior Security Design Consultant – Enterprise Security
Location: Remote Working – UK
Salary: Up to £75,000 depending on relevant experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
The Opportunity
Zitko is recruiting for an experienced Senior Security Design Consultant to join a leading international security consultancy delivering complex physical and electronic security projects for major global clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established security design professional who enjoys leading projects, developing security strategies and working closely with clients across high-security commercial environments.
The position offers remote working, significant project ownership and the opportunity to collaborate with experienced international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of physical and electronic security strategies, from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery.
- Deliver security design solutions for commercial developments, financial institutions and other high-security environments.
- Manage projects from a technical and commercial perspective, overseeing budgets, timelines, resources and deliverables.
- Produce technical specifications, design reports, security assessments and client-facing documentation.
- Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, contractors and multidisciplinary consultancy teams.
- Lead client meetings, provide technical guidance and support the development of junior consultants.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within security design consultancy, ideally delivering complex commercial or high-security projects.
- Strong understanding of physical security strategy, electronic security systems and integrated security design.
- Experience working across RIBA design stages, with knowledge of relevant industry standards and design risk management.
- Understanding of counter-terrorism security principles and hostile vehicle mitigation would be advantageous.
- Previous experience managing projects, budgets and client relationships.
- Excellent communication, technical reporting and stakeholder management skills.
