They’re seeking an experienced Senior Security Consultant to join their UK-based team and contribute to delivering industry-leading security solutions that protect people and infrastructure. Position Overview
As a Senior Security Consultant, you’ll undertake specialist technical work delivering security design solutions that meet rigorous industry standards and codes. You’ll prepare project briefs, develop scopes of work and contribute to bid proposals, whilst managing budgets and timelines to meet key milestones. Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams across the UK and overseas, you’ll deliver integrated security design solutions that address complex threat landscapes and regulatory requirements, directly influencing how critical infrastructure is protected.
Responsibilities

Prepare briefs, scopes of work and technical inputs for bid proposals and security design projects

Deliver technical security design solutions adhering to relevant design standards, codes and best practice

Manage project budgets and timelines to meet key milestones and programme requirements

Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated security design solutions

Conduct threat and risk analysis, security risk assessments and counter-terrorism design work
-
Develop security strategies, master-planning schemes and physical or electronic security system designs
-
Ensure quality assurance standards are met throughout the design process and delivery
-
Support the development of security governance, policies and procedures meeting legislative and client requirements
Requirements
-
Degree qualification in an appropriate discipline (engineering, security, risk management or related field)

Proven experience delivering design solutions within multidisciplinary teams
-
Sound knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

Threat and risk analysis or security risk management
-
Security strategies, schemes and master-planning
-
Counter-terrorism design
-
Physical security design
-
Electronic security systems design
-
Blast effects analysis
-
Continuity and resilience planning for security threats

Demonstrated experience developing security governance, policies and procedures

Knowledge of regulatory standards including NPSA, ISO, LPCB or equivalent
-
Professional membership or acknowledged relationship with a security industry body (SyI, RSES, ASC or similar)

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
