Technical Support EngineerBirmingham | £27,000 | Full Time

Suprema is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join its growing UK team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in technical support, networking or access control systems who enjoys troubleshooting, solving customer issues and working with innovative security technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support via phone and email
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues
  • Manage and update support tickets through Freshdesk
  • Deliver excellent customer service to UK and international customers
  • Escalate complex issues where required
  • Maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation
  • Work closely with internal technical teams and third-party partners

Requirements

  • Experience supporting Access Control systems or similar technology
  • Good networking knowledge
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple support enquiries effectively
  • Passion for technology and delivering a great customer experience

Desirable

  • SQL Management Studio experience
  • Security industry knowledge
  • Experience with scripting languages and API/SDK integrations
