The Chartered Security Professionals Register reports that the contractor Carlisle Support Services has become the first company to join a new Chartered Security Professionals (CSyP) Supporters Panel. By joining, the company has pledged to support the work of the Register and to promote CSyP status across their workplaces. Having announced the cutting out the use of sub-contractors last year, the company points to their commitment to ethical labour practices, and investment in people and industry standards.
Paul Evans, CEO of Carlisle Support Services, said: “We are proud to support the Register and the important role it plays in raising standards across the industry. In addition to our donation, we’re committing to funding at least three more of our team achieving Chartered status by the end of this year. This reflects our ongoing drive to invest in professional development and leadership within the security sector.”
About the panel
The Supporters Panel invites organisations to promote CSyP status, support professional development, and contribute to the Register’s outreach and mentoring activities. Mike Bluestone CSyP, Registrar of the RCSP, said: “Carlisle has long demonstrated a strong commitment to quality, integrity, and the advancement of our profession. Their leadership as the first supporter sets an excellent example for the wider industry.”
The Register organisers add that it seeks to engage further in championing the value of Chartership and professional standards in security. Carlisle support will help to fund the Register’s development and outreach efforts, ensuring greater access to mentoring, assessment, and resources for aspiring Chartered Security Professionals.
