Maginus, a multi-channel retail software company, has helped Aldridge Security, a trade-only security product wholesaler and distributor, to record online sales. With a new Maginus eCommerce platform, Aldridge has seen the value of online sales increase by 15.7 per cent year on year and a 34.5 per cent rise in the number of orders placed online.
Maginus was commissioned by Aldridge after some detailed research which found the company needed to improve the โcustomer journeyโ online and offer an ecommerce site. Maginus offered a one-stop-shop, to building and hosting the website. Bryn Thomas, eCommerce Manager at Aldridge, said: โWe gave the designers at Maginus our brand guidelines and assets and they delivered a design that applies industry best practice, a much improved customer journey and delivered it with real flair.โ

The site has guided navigation, improved search, and control of promotions and merchandising. This means that itโs easier for customers to find the products theyโre looking for, to check the prices and stock availability. Hence Aldridge has seen an increase in the number of customers registering to use its site. Based on the Maginus platform, Aldridge is planning to provide customers with more access to their accounts, including orders, invoices, payments and statements.
