A series of new CCTV systems are in car parks dotted along the five miles of Swansea?s foreshore.
Swansea City and County Council have a series of new CCTV systems in car parks dotted along the five miles of Swansea?s foreshore. Computer and Digital Security Systems (CDS) Ltd of Pontypridd were called in to install cameras with Pentax zoom lenses in the car parks. Simon Moor, Managing Director of CDS, said: ?We needed to be able to comply with all the Home Office recognition guidelines to give police the chance to make arrests and successfully prosecute offenders through the courts.? They used a series of nine Pentax 12-240mm and five 10-140 zooms in the car parks feeding back to council-run monitoring station in the city centre.
