Kaba Unican has launched a new generation of stand-alone electronic magnetic card locks, suitable for hotels, halls of residence, conference centres and hostels.
The new E-760 lock features a one-inch solid metal deadbolt. Previous guest cards are automatically cancelled, preventing guests who have checked out from re-entering the room. The card is read on removal from the lock. The product is available in a choice of finishes, including satin brass, satin chrome and painted black with satin chrome levers and mortice face plate. The software is compatible with all major PMS and POS systems, the manufacturers report, for management information and control. A disability option allows for an extended unlock time and there is a lock audit facility recording the last 200 transactions (including who has used the override facility).
