JVC At IFSEC

by msecadm4921

JVC Professional Europe will exhibit their range of PoE security cameras in May at IFSEC 2009: stand C30.

Leading the show for JVC will be the new VN-V685U – a fully functional Power over Ethernet (PoE) PTZ dome camera.

The VN-V685U uses JVC’s direct drive motor for precise, silent control over the pan and tilt. Other features include simultaneous distribution of full-frame MPEG-4 and Motion-JPEG streams, a 27x optical zoom and day-night capabilities. There are internal and external (VN-V686WPBU) housing versions available, each of which feature PoE.

Phil Wring, Sales Manager, JVC Professional Europe Ltd says, "We expect both professionals and visitors to the show alike will be deeply impressed by the range on display, and especially by the PoE facility for our cameras. JVC is known throughout the industry for reliability, durability and accuracy, but we also try to take the technology forward. We’ve already had a great reaction from customers to our low power PoE PTZ cameras, compared to normal higher power PTZ cameras."

JVC are also introducing Megapixel technology with the VN-X35U IP camera. This incorporates a 1.3 Megapixel progressive scan CCD. It can distribute up to Quad VGA (4xVGA), Motion JPEG and VGA MPEG-4, and features Focus Assist mode for focus adjustment. The Quad VGA images allow you to use the VN-X35U like a PTZ camera; using the digital zoom, you can magnify any area of the image and the magnified area can be moved freely to maintain the same zoom ratio.

The VN-X235VP4U and VN-V225VP mini-dome cameras are both IP66 and vandal-resistant, with patent-pending fine adjust focus alignment technology, free shape privacy masking and day-night capabilities, providing picture quality under low light conditions and ensuring round-the-clock surveillance, the makers say.
