Swedish lock and security manufacturing giant ASSA ABLOY has formed the Identification Technology Group (ITG), headed by Joe Grillo and based out of ASSA ABLOY?s US headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut. The Identification Technology Group is: Card Manufacturing Center of Excellence, HID Corporation, in California and Haverhill, UK; Identification Technology Group Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong; and US-based Identification Technology Group Research and Development Center and Indala. Carl-Henric Svanberg, President of ASSA ABLOY said: ?Our intent in forming the Identification Technology Group was to establish an ASSA ABLOY business entity made up of separate ASSA ABLOY Group companies.
